This holiday season, First Harvest Credit Union’s Charitable Journey Committee continued its tradition of supporting the community through gift donations. During the month of December, committee members purchased, wrapped, and delivered gifts to families in Deptford, New Jersey; Pleasantville, New Jersey; and Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Charitable Journey Committee’s gift donation tradition began in December 2020. To help alleviate the financial stress of the holidays for families who were impacted by the pandemic, the committee collected donations from credit union employees to provide gifts for children in need.

“Many families are still struggling to make ends meet on a daily basis, let alone finding the resources to purchase gifts for the holidays,” said Ernest Huggard, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Harvest Credit Union. “I’m thankful to the dedicated members of the Charitable Journey Committee for continuing this wonderful tradition, as well as the credit union employees who offered their generous donations. With their help, First Harvest is consistently working toward our mission of supporting the communities we serve.”
