First Harvest Credit Union’s Charitable Journey Donates $1,000 to the Animal Adoption Center

First Harvest Credit Union’s Charitable Journey Program recently donated $1,000 to the Animal Adoption Center (AAC) in Lindenwold, NJ. This organization provides temporary shelter and medical care for rescued cats and dogs with the goal of finding permanent homes and families for these animals. The AAC also aims to educate the Southern New Jersey community on the importance of healthy relationships between pets and their owners, in part by providing adopted animals with lifetime support.

Charitable Journey is an employee-led program established by a volunteer group of First Harvest employees who share a passion for serving the community. In addition to quarterly fundraising initiatives that support various charities, the program raises funds each winter to purchase gifts for families in need within the counties First Harvest serves. Since its inception, the Charitable Journey Program has donated over $72,000 to local charities and organizations.
