Message from Our CEO: Fall Expansion & Community Reinvestments

Dear Fellow Members,

As we kick off an exciting fall season at our credit union, I hope this message finds you and your family well. Despite facing the ever-changing economic landscape, our commitment to our membership remains an unwavering priority in all that we do.

As a credit union, we exist to serve you and are always looking for impactful ways to reinvest in the communities we proudly serve, especially as we continue to celebrate our milestone 85th anniversary year.

So far this year, our team has completed 60 of our 85 Acts of Kindness throughout our community. Just last month, our staff took time to thank our educators by providing breakfast to six local schools, supported environmental and ID theft security efforts by hosting a shredder event that disposed of over 2 tons of personal documents, and delivered nearly 1,000 pounds of food to six food pantries, thanks to the generous contributions from our credit union family during our New Jersey Credit Unions Food Cooperative.

As we enter the final months of our anniversary celebration, our dedicated volunteers will carry out First Responder Appreciation giveback events, brighten up the holidays for South Jersey families in need, and support breast cancer awareness efforts through Charitable Journey’s Pink Ribbon Program.

Beyond our community reinvestments, we’ve expanded our products and services to better meet our members’ needs. These efforts include new ATM access points at partnering colleges and universities, a more convenient and accessible Voorhees Branch for Camden County residents, and an enhanced suite of business products for both new and existing business members. Additionally, First Harvest members with mortgage accounts can now conveniently access their mortgage information online through our new mortgage servicing partner, Midwest Loan Services. We continue to reinvest in improved technologies and services you can count on while keeping our fees among the lowest of any financial institution in New Jersey.

We’re thrilled to share that we surpassed 48,000 members, with more than 1,900 new members welcomed this year. We’ve also surpassed the $300 million in outstanding loans milestone, adding more than $30 million in new loans so far in 2025, to help our members achieve their goals. In addition, we have paid over $4 million in dividends to help members bolster their savings.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to introduce even more of New Jersey’s residents to the First Harvest Credit Union difference and demonstrate why we’re a better option. As we enter the final months of our 85th anniversary celebration, we remain committed to the “people helping people” credit union philosophy and will continue to explore innovative financing solutions to empower each of our members’ next steps!

As always, thank you for placing your trust in First Harvest. It’s an honor to serve you, and we thank you for being a valued member!

Sincerely,

Mike Dinneen
